Lion has been impressing his fans with his recent set of performances in Edmonton, Canada. The Canadian/ Bahamian hip hop artiste has always made his stage presence felt, especially when he had the mic but recently he has stepped up his game yet again opening for some of hip hop’s finest and performing with various fellow up and coming artistes.

In March and April of 2011 Lion performed concerts alongside Madchild and Moka Only in the Edmonton area on a mini tour. Mad Child is a member of the group Swollen Members, a multi platinum Canadian group who has just dropped a brand new album. Lion says the experience of performing and going on the road with Mad Child and Moka Only was “awesome”. One of the shows, which they performed at Red Deer, was of particular importance to Lion as he put on the show himself via his company Lionheart entertainment. The venue was packed with patrons and the great energy throughout the night was an extra plus for the artistes and Lion in particular.

After that Lion also opened in a major hip hop concerts, for GZA, member of the Wu-Tang Clan. He has another concert scheduled for yet another Wu-Tang member, Raekwon. Learning and performing alongside the great names in hip hop is a good experience for Lion who works towards soon being the main act and do a tour himself once his album will be released towards the end of summer. About his performances Lion says “They keep getting better and I’m lovin’ it!”
