Buenos Dias from SotaRico!
After rocking a great month of July at the Latin Alternative Music Conference- BMI's "Verano Alternativo Showcase" at the universal S.O.Bs and a follow up show at New York City’s' Union Square "Live @ Best Buy Stage," we wanted to give our fans another refreshing flow to "sip on."
Here is the latest single "Goin' Out" by Twin Cities-Puerto Rican, Hip-Hop, R&B and Latin fusion artist Maria Isa. "Goin' Out" is another one to add to Isa's creative collection, especially as her first-released song produced by the legendary Queens, New York native Eddie Sancho.
Sancho is best known as Hip-Hop's "Engineer Extraordinaire," mixing a majority of the genre's epic work and sound alongside production craft master DJ Premier. (Myspace.com/eddiesancho).
"Goin' Out" showcases Maria Isa's passion for lyricism as a storyteller and versitile vocalist; representing the Twin Cities love for hip-hop, with respect to the genre's Mecca of New York City.
Truthfully, it’s a simple sweet-love song, in which Isa's writing skills, vocals, and performance places her in a role self-described as hip-hop's Rita Moreno.
Following her first single "Lowrider Mamis" off her upcoming mixtape "Sip It, " Isa's lyrics in “Goin’ Out” represent another side of her. This time envision her driving around in a Jaguar or riding a chariot in Central Park. Eddie Sancho paints his production essence by adding in Brooklyn's own Red Daniels' bass line, which gives the song a sweet flavor and soulful taste to become one of hip-hop's summer classics for 2010. Whether you're taking a ride on FDR drive or Highway 94, or rowing through the Mississippi or Hudson River. “Goin’ Out” flows smoothly...enjoy and sip it!
