MasSicker AKA "King Mas" has been hard at work these past few months aggressively promoting his popular singles "Mek Dem Gwaan", "Wife Beater", "New Millennium Rasta", and recently, "Come Right Back" amongst others. In the midst of this promotional campaign, Mas has been spending much of his time writing and recording new tunes for the upcoming mixtape R.A.S. (Resisting Against the System) 2.0 as well working on numerous collaborations and singles with various artists/producers from as far as Canada, the UK, and Norway.

"It's a gift and a curse" say Mas. "Many times I'm trying to sleep or complete some other necessary task and inspiration tek me. I just have to drop what I'm doing or roll out of bed and find a way to jot down my ideas. Sometimes I look around and realize I haven't even eaten for the day and it's 6-7 pm. That's how crazy it gets when you're truly locked in"

"I was actually on the treadmill at the gym" says Mas. "I had heard the song before in passing but never really took it in until that moment. I loved how Sean and Nicki went about it but also thought the "Dutty Love" concept would be interesting from a more militant/Rasta perspective"
