- Reporter: It’s stated over the internet that you said “let’s make dancehall go platinum with a mix tape” was that aim towards anyone particular?
- Black Mattic: Not really, I just believe we as dancehall artists have the ability and the crowed to hit the same numbers as Drake and Lil Wayne. The confidence of the artist and the support from the fans is very important.
- Reporter: What kind of audience would you advise to purchase this album?
- Black Mattic: First of all don’t let the name Hot Grabba through you off. The mix tape is recommended for people of all ages. This is a project everyone can relate to matter your race and ethnic background. Once you hear the album you’ll see the concept.
- Reporter: How did your fans and supports contribute to this album?
- Black Mattic: Well two of the biggest records on the album were inspired just by having a conversation with two of my biggest supports online. (“Numba One” and “Far Away”) I’m as real as it gets yu zeet.
