DJ 3D Kolaiah: The Voice of Jah

Main selector of Ice Box International Sound. DJ, music producer/promoter based out of the Staten Island, New York.

Born in 1972 in Brooklyn, NY, DJ3D has a passion to attain the latest and rarest records which makes him a unique music collector.

He started spinning at Port Richmond High School basketball games in the 80's, and has performed at various venues from Harlem NY, Minnesota, and the North Shores of Staten Island. He has recently added Bermuda to his global scope during the festive season of the Island’s two-day Emancipation Celebration, holiday at one of the Island’s popular beaches in July 2010.

DJ 3D is always working producing mixes and promoting talents from various artists.

His purpose is to play and produce music with meaningful lyrics to touch and inspire audiences of all ages.

He can be heard on www.zionhighness.com the best conscious reggae online station in the world. His show always reflects his personality, knowledge, and love for reggae music. He was voted the top DJ for the month of April in 2010.

In 2009, he produced and released mixed tapes with local artists such as Empress Shanice - OneInity Crew with Sypha, Danjah, and the one and only Bigga Haitian.

He also released the “Face Riddim” mixed CD, a compilation of tracks from St Croix Artists. His production works have helped to pave a way for artists to be heard and discovered by the public.

In 2008, DJ 3D received the Best DJ Award of Staten Island according to the AWE reader’s poll. He is considered to be an inspiration to many, by many.
