EVENT: G-WHIZZ VIDEO LAUNCH

Local recording artiste G-Whizz launched his new and anticipated video last evening, at Medusa in St. Andrew, Jamaica. The launched supervised by production team JayFresh Productions as well as promoted under that group via social network Facebook and through Black Berry Messenger. The evenings activities started at 7pm with three hours of arrivals, mingling and building a party vibes atmosphere before the event was kicked into high gear at 9:35pm.

Shari Griffith (MsBoss) of the JayFresh Production team started the evening activities by asking all in attendance to gather in the central location for what was was expected to be a high energy performance from the dancers featured in the music video "I Feel It". SteezyFresh also of JayFresh Productions then took over the MC duties for the night where he presented the dancers and commended them for a job well done. As the dancers performed to a large crowd gathered to see the 'world premiere' of G-Whizz "I Feel It" it was evident that members of the music industry were absent from the night's launch, however recording artiste ISHAWNA and WASP were the only visible artistes present after scanning and going through the crowd. With the exception of DJ Kruddy who promoted his new mix tape throughout he nights launch.

The music industry members being absent raises several questions about the amount of support these artiste are showing each other in what some argue sometimes is a tough industry. G-Whizz, not phased by the lack of support, sent shout outs to recording artistes, QQ and Konshens, who made appearances in the video. Konshens being unavoidably absent as he is on a European tour currently.

The launch can therefore and without apology be said for the fans and supporters of both the artiste and the JayFresh Production team. As these young directors created history for themselves in launching their first major project for a leading recording artiste on International Reggae Day as well as putting together a well thought-out launch party.
