Out The Gate
"Out the Gate is a vivid and moving reflection of the immigrant experience and the flagrant joy of musical creativity of our Jamaican cousins" -Roger Steffens
The plot of the film is as follows, after a turn of unfortunate events in Jamaica, Everton leaves his home to make it big in the music business in America. Everything is not a bed of roses in Hollywood, but with struggles and perseverance he finds love and success, only to have it all threatened when the Don of LA (Paul Campbell) wants his dues. Shot on location in Jamaica and Los Angeles.
The Movie stars Paul Campbell, Oliver Samuels, Shelli Boone, Everton Dennis and is directed by The Village Brothers, written by Everton Dennis & Qmillion and produced by Keith Lewis & Everton Dennis. "Out The Gate" is set for release in May 13, 2011 to high expections following movies like Harder they Come, Dancehall Queen, Better Muss Come, Rise Up and many others who have etched Jamaica on the film scene.
