27 May 2013 13:00 : SHAKE AND BAKE SHOW on KFAI RADIO http://mplsdancehall.com/wahgwaan/this-week/icalrepeat.detail/2013/05/27/3246/-/shake-and-bake-show-on-kfai-radio http://mplsdancehall.com/wahgwaan/this-week/icalrepeat.detail/2013/05/27/3246/-/shake-and-bake-show-on-kfai-radio Shake & Bake brings you "World Music" (Isn't all music "World Music"?) two hours a week. The idea is simple: no rules, no topics. If it's good, we play it! The show has been on the air for 19 years. It was started by Tony Paul and Eduardo Sandoval. The Nite Nurse joined Tony as a co-host in 2006.

    • Nite Nurse
      • The Nite Nurse has been a reggae and world music DJ since her college days, back when Shabba had a "Trailer Load 'a Gals." She joined Tony Paul as a co-host of Shake & Bake in 2006. She spends her leisure time during the Vikings off season watching ESPN with the sound down and the dancehall reggae turned up. A Minneapolis native, she attended the University of Minnesota and originally majored in Making Money until she heard a record by African music legend Fela and decided to use her powers of persuasion and persistence to help artists get their work exposed and messages heard as an arts publicist. When people question her unusual passion for both art and sports, she is quick to point out "Boxing is just choreography with
consequences." She would love to tell you all about it over a Power?s whiskey neat at Grumpy?s.
