The Minnesota Zoo is located in Apple Valley about 20 miles south of the Twin Cities and just 10 minutes south of the Mall of America. The official address is 13000 Zoo Blvd, Apple Valley, MN 55124.
From Minneapolis: 35W south, to Highway 62 east, to Highway 77 south, to County Road 38 east - follow the Zoo signs.
From St. Paul: 35E south, to Highway 77 south, to County Road 38 east - follow the Zoo signs.
From south of Apple Valley:

Public Transit Directions
The Minnesota Zoo is on MVTA bus line # 440. This bus runs 440 runs Monday through Saturday, there is no bus service to the Zoo on Sunday. The bus runs from Mall of America to the Apple Valley station and stops at the Zoo. (Please note: periodically the MVTA changes their Web site.
