The Ministry of Education, has endorsed the campaign and applaud Black Music Promotions for extending it’s valid contribution in the development of youth within the schools.
All entertainers / performers and general invitees, will be screened by the committee to ensure, that the materials / acts and lyrics to be used are in compliance with the regulation of the campaign, which must be, positive / clean and educational.
Less we forget, the invaluable lifetime contribution of Honorable Robert “Bob” Nesta Marley, Smile Jamaica Concert" in 1976 and the "One Love Peace Concert" in 1978, which to date has a significant impact on our nation. Our campaign will sustain it’s significance and re-energize its power / purpose to educate our youth, within current society.
Our primary objective of this campaign, is to promote our campaign through the school system (mainly infant / primary & high schools) to fully ignite & generate the positive energy between the community, to work cohesively with the police to fight illegal gun trafficking and gun crimes, which contributes to Three (3) major factors:-
- Collaboration of Citizens and the Police Force, to work as One (1) unit
- Conduct our campaign within the school system, as an early child wood education programme
- Create a memorandum of understanding with the Broadcasting Commission, for the media, (radio / Tv. & Cable etc), to cease and desist from airing / promoting murder music, songs / movies, that gives a negative impact.
