CINNAMON CONTINUES TO BLAZE INTERNATIONAL AIRWAVES
St. Kitts born female dancehall artist Cinnamon, continues to blaze the international airwaves and club scenes with her latest single on the Split Personality Riddim by producer Seanizzle out of Jamaica. The song dubbed as “Pon Di Ting (Female answer)" is a direct counteraction to Movado’s song “Pon Di Ting” on the same riddim. Cinnamon with her clever lyrics, style and flare answers the popular Singjay word for word keeping the original flow of his hook but adding her “spicy flavor” to the verses.
Movado in his version talks about giving a girl his everything and in return asks for her full affection. In Cinnamon’s version she counteracts by asking the Singjay if he is sure of what he is asking for and continues to explain that she is more than any regular girl that he knows, suggesting to him that she is way too much for him to even handle.
This song has caught the attention of many disk jocks and has made its way across the globe, being heard on main stream and internet radio stations and gaining street credits in many clubs as far as Italy, Germany and Africa.
Below we have posted two links, one being a podcast from a popular radio program broadcasted in Italy on Sundays called "In The Summertime" and the other is a new dancehall mixtape by Empire Sounds out of Kenya called "STREET SWAG vol 7". Here Cinnamon’s song appears between an impressive list of top artists in the industry.
