Zaheer Khan better known as Big Rich, a well-known producer and DJ from Trinidad and Tobago will be here in Minneapolis on Sept 23rd 2011 at The Parish Bar and Lounge 1612 Harmond Place Minneapolis. Big Rich has produced hits like Hunter’s Jep sting naina, Radika, SW Storm’s Pong Pong, Ravi B’s Ah Drinker, Ravi B’s rum is meh lovah just to name a few.

Big Rich and D Pungalunks Factory have dominated the chutney soca monarch and the rapid progression of producer/DJ Big Rich aka ‘D Pungalunks’, is nothing short of spectacular and is a feature that may never be repeated. In just two short years, he has gone from being a relative unknown in the production arena to become the preeminent Chutney Soca producer in Trinidad. This was emphatically confirmed at the 2009 Chutney Monarch competition, as three of his tunes placed first, second and third in the competition. Big Rich is also known for crossing barriers with artistes and music doing multiple combinations of soca and chutney stars like Kess the band, Alison Hinds, Hitman, Ravi B, SW Storm, Hunter, Rikki Jai, Bunji Garlin, Pit Bull and lil Jon.
