Ending this year off with a bang RoadBlock Films! would like to "thank everyone who has given us the opportunity to work on their projects since the start and especially in 2010, without you we wouldn't have had a chance to show what we have to offer. Also everyone who has taken precious time to take a look on our work, rate it, tell their friends about it. Without you we would be nothing.
Also special thanks goes out to our peers who have endorsed and supported us over the short time we've been around, Unga 'Notice Production', Russian and the HEAD CONCUSSION team, Vybz Kartel and the Gaza family, Adidjaheim & Notnice Records, X-Ray records/GI productions, HoneyDipped Promotions, Raine PR, Ding Dong, Rasco, and each and every Artist, Management and Production team we have had the opportunity to work with. May blessings of good creativity and prosperity rain down on us all. Much respect and blessings", from the RoadBlock Films! family.

(Kingston, Jamaica) One would normally associate a "roadblock" as an item that blocks travel on a road; however, when the "roadblock" is added to films, it opens a pathway ready to be traveled.
RoadBlock! Films (RBF) has been quietly creeping through the ranks of video production over the past few years but in 2009, RBF's foundation was solidified with the award winning video, "Holiday" from rising dancehall artist Ding Dong. With 2010 videos such as Vybz Kartel's "Jeans & Fitted", Popcaan's "Dream", Chan Dizzy's "Nuh Strange Face", and the brand new release from Spice "Jim Screechie", RoadBlock!'s youtube views has surpassed the 1.5 million mark.
The crew at RoadBlock! has no plans on stopping at a 1.5 million views. The 6 member force (Kirk Lee, Kerrin Mclean, Marvin James, Otto McLeod, Pierce Mclean, and Mark Nicholson) just released "No Gyal" from Rasco and Flexx, and is currently working on videos for Konshens, Mr G, and a medley on Adidjaheim/Notnice's "Duss" Riddim.
A complete media production company, RBF specializes in music videos, EPKs (Electronic Press Kits), commercials, short films, and TV specials. "RoadBlock! is willing to do any project that we know for sure we can manage in a timely manner." comments Director of Photography, Kirk Lee.
"Timely manner" is very important to the business of RBF, along with their goal of delivering the best quality visual productions at any given price point, striving to work for the love of motion pictures and providing people with a product that will assist their own promotion. RoadBlock! seems to be achieving that goal time and time again.
Recently asked about the state of videos coming out of dancehall and the work being put forth by RBF, DP Kirk Lee remarked, "Well I'm happy to have worked on some great projects, although I always feel we can do better every time, so I'm always hunting for that. The quality of videos coming out in dancehall right now has stepped up overall, its always been slowly progressing over time. I'm also happy that the overall industry is stepping up because we are all going to benefit from it in the long run."
Choosing the name, "RoadBlock" because it was cool and catchy, this team of talented production artists, are proving it's more than just a catchy name, it's a brand that is opening up pathways and will stand the trends of time, video time that is!
