David Hanna was born on November 4th in Nassau, Bahamas where he attended Uriah McPhee Primary School and CI Gibson High School before turning his attention to a career as a professional artiste.

Influenced by both of his parents, who are vocalists, David got an early start in his school as well as his Church choir. Eventually he also started competing in local talent shows developing his skills as an artiste, performer and producer

David names artistes such as Sam Cook, Gladys knight, the Temptations and Twilights as inspirations but also is influenced and draws from many genres of music such as classical music like Pavarotti and Beethoven as well as soul/ r&b such as Toni Braxton, Babyface and Boyz II Men just to name a few.

As not just an artiste but also producers David looks up to and draws inspiration from the work of Dr Dre, Timbaland, Smokey Robinson, David Banna, Swiss Beatz and Linkin Park. These influences alongside his personal style create the sound of David Hanna. As he personally expresses it, his music is “a mixture of the world’s energy fuelled by my style of singing, rapping and chatting, all mixed with my culture.”

David Hanna aims to become a brand reaching beyond the boundaries of just music, influencing and being a household name across the globe. He has started to create his path and leave a lasting mark on the international music scene first with his first official release “Do To Me”, written and produced by David Hanna himself.

He has had some of his career highlights so far performing to audiences in the USA as well as his home of the Bahamas receiving a lot of love from fans for his vocal skills, performance and persona. Before the release of his first single he kept performing original songs and had his audiences singing along in no time, feeling his music.

David Hanna, as real and down to earth as can be, has been steadily crafting his music and working on a music video as well as the completion of his debut album for 2010. Definitely a musical force to reckon with in the years to come David Hanna is ready to take his music to the world.
