Better known as Rosheed Ray-Anthony Fullerton, Skari is the second child to a mother that supposes her son to the fullest. Born November 30, 1988 in the parish of Manchester, Mandeville, he was schooled both in the parish of his birth and in Kingston city during his school career, Skari gigs and appearance that were sure to form a type of template for his future year acts.

At the tender age of seven, Skari would find himself listening to music that only uncle and mother would listen around the house “ my ears always attract me to listen to melodies that make me feel happy inside he loves to listen Reggae, Alternative rock, Rnb, Hip hop and all genre of music from it sounds good.

It was his Uncle and his elder sister who really motivates him at his early age to become an artiste. His uncle always did a few songs around the house, so when Skari started he was inevitably encouraged to continue.

His favorite artists are Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Mariah Carey, Garnet Silk, Jah Cure and Sizzla Kalonji, with Buju being his main influence. But when Movado comes along, he Movado really did make a serious impact on the way his career would take shape.

In the year 2001 at age 13 Skari started doing demo CD’s at various studio in Mandeville. The first CD recorded during the same year was one called “Born and Grow in Mandeville” this is like a type of dance hall rhythm and then followed in that dance hall direction up to age 15.

Skari soon founded out that Dance hall was not his true love but to do more inspiring tunes with a more positivity. So culture songs that express love and understanding started coming out. Songs like “I wish” and skies are blue.” I wish “is a favorite among his fans and peers, but in 2008 when he did songs like “Car thief, Life and Make it up in 2009” there every one knows he was ready for the market.

At first Skari move was not fully aware of the type of talent he was made with. It was during some rehearsal around the house and in the streets that we became convinced that Skari should be heard globally. Skari and his move decided to launch out in 2006 after contacting a close associate who is a producer, he Recommend a studio in Manchester. The owner of the studio Ras Carrel Hewitt, he express his love for Skari and his songs by inviting him to an immediate recording. After voicing “I Wish” sky’s are blue” at culture park studio, Mr. Hewitt encourage immediate air play. He made arrangements for Skari and his mom to visit a popular Disc jock giving him copies of the recent CD.

After a day are two Skari tune was heard gracing the air waves. Irie Fm and Zip fm was rinsing “I WISH” for a couple of weeks well. “Hearing my song for the first time on the radio left me feeling something that I can’t describe” those were the word of a most exhilarating artist.

Skari started getting acts on shows around the Manchester Kingston & St. Elizabeth area his popularity increased and he became a real favorite locally with other artiste and admires alike. At the moment Skari is putting his album together, getting ready for recordings and distribution.

Recently he was invited by a Canadian Radio station to do a couple of jingles for them. Busy as a bee, Skari is now writing songs for his next album and getting ready to display his versatility with video shooting very soon.
