Deh Deh, in Jamaica patois, signifies being present in the here and now. Truckback Records recording duo, Deh Deh, is right here and right now with the release of “WOULD A KNOW”. Recorded & Produced by Steve Locke, “WOULD A KNOW” draws the listener to reflect on seeing day to day life through a crystal ball: What if? – “Mi nuh know wats coming or wats next, So mi live my life like its my last breath”. A heartfelt ballad with international crossover potential, ”WOULD A KNOW” showcases the writing ability of the 2 young brothers, Devano and Denroy along with lyrical mentoring from “the freedom fighter”, Anthony B.
The flowing and melodic groove of “WOULD A KNOW”, musically arranged and composed by Steve Locke with contributions from Keyboard maestro, Nigel "Sleepy Splu" Staff and Adrian Locke, was mixed and mastered by the skillful and accomplished Phillip "Junior Arrows" Linton of Arrows Productions.
Deh Deh – Denroy and Devano McLean - two blood brothers with music, vibez and culture running through their veins announced their presence quite clearly at the 2007 Digicel Rising Stars competition in which they finished among the top 10 finalists. Following the finale of Rising Stars, Deh Deh entertained Jamaicans at numerous Digicel-sponsored functions along with the likes of Romain Virgo, Jodian Pantry and Lenya Wilks.
Now working and recording under the Truckback Records Label, Deh Deh is sure to show their versatility in meaningful message music and infectious dancehall melodies.
